SUMMARY OF SERIES

Last Exile is an anime that creatively mixes 2-D animation with 3-D graphics.  The story revolves mainly around a vanship pilot named Claus Valca and his navigator Lavi Head.  They are a pair of vanship couriers living their life from one day to the next until one fateful day they run into a dying vanship pilot who passes his seven star mission onto them.  They end up on the outlaw ship the Sylvana where their dreams are shattered and the pair must forge ahead and uncover the mystery of EXILE.
